I am in my 6os have had corn exactly This way my entire life. This is the best way.

i actually added 1/2 cup of sugar, 1 stick butter, a cup of half and half and a dash of salt brought to a boil covered turned off and let cook for about 12 minutes..this was the most amazing corn and like so many said it doesn't need extra butter and actually i think buttering before eating takes away the flavor!
