This recipe made 13 fat shortcakes for me, much more than the 8 indicated in the recipe. Baking time was closer to 17 min., but that can vary depending on oven and altitude. I didn't add strawberries to the batter, so I added about 1/4 cup of half and half instead to compensate for the liquid volume I otherwise would have lacked. I was tempted to reduce the sugar added, but I'm glad I didn't. The tartness of the yogurt made the sugar a must. Flavor and texture are excellent.
