    I cooked this for my boyfriend. I made a slight variation after frying I took the steaks out added a little bit more oil and then added onions and 1 garlic clove, sauteed the onions and garlic, then added flour and then I cooked the flour down. I then added chicken stock slowly while stirring and whisking to incorporate once it came up as a gravy I added the steaks back and simmered for about an hour and a half I added chicken stock when needed and I added Sage and Cavender's seasoning and garlic and onion powder he loved it!!!!!!! Thanks good recipe!!!

    I've made cube steak a billion times, but this is the best so far! I did a couple of things differently, though! After frying them, I cut a few onions and lined the bottom of a shallow baking pan with them. Put the cube steaks on top, then made a gravy in the pan i fried them in, using onion soup mix, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, some of the leftover flour, and a little milk. Poured that mixture over the steaks, covered with aluminum foil, and baked them in the oven on 375 for a while. It was amazing!!!!!

    Great recipe! We enjoyed it! The steak was sooooo tender. First time ever never knew how to get the meat tender! Now one of our favorite! Wow impressive! Thanks for this app!

    I used garlic-infused olive oil rather than vegetable oil and homemade beef stock instead of the bouillon. I also used gluten-free flour. Everyone in the family loved it, and the gravy made from the drippings was a huge hit.
