This cake is great and super easy. I added orange zest and a little orange liquor to the mix, and lightly caramelized almonds to decorate. All my family loved it!
I could use a little less sugar. Next time (coz’ I’m definitly doing it again) I will try with ⅔ the indicated quantity.

I use half the amount of sugar suggested, 100% Belgian chocolate which consists of dark chocolate butter and some sugar. The cake is soft, moist and rich. The almond meal I use gives the nutty bites. Nicest chocolate cake I have ever made. Will try to reduce butter to 225g in my next trial. Thank you for sharing this lovely recipe.

it was a delish! My husband and my daughter loved my Belgian chocolate cake. I used 4 eggs instead of 5. I am planning to try it with roasted nuts.
