- 1 lb. tomatoes (about 4 ripe, preferably Roma)
- 1/4 lb. tomatillos (about 1 or 2 depending on size)
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds (lightly toasted)
- 2 squashes (chayote, peeled and cubed, about 3 cups)
- 1 zucchini (large, cubed, about 3 cups)
- 3/4 lb. green beans (trimmed and cut into about 1-inch pieces, about 2 cups)
- 3 ears corn (fresh, husked and cut into thirds)
- 3/4 cup white onion (finely chopped, for garnish, optional)
- 3/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish, optional)
- 4 limes (quartered, for garnish, optional)
