This recipe is a, “keeper.” USDA Bottom Round Roast was 4.23 lbs after dicing was 3.13 lbs. Added mushrooms & green beans. Beer used Gumballhead 3 Floyd’s. Prep times is NO 10 minutes, it was one hour: this includes dicing, frying, & browning.

This isnt bad, i actually messed up and thought I bought stew meat, instead i got Bulgogi since it was in the wrong spot at the store.

I added a raw beet and served it in a home made bread bowl to our harvest crew. It was delicious! I also made a rue and thickened it at the end. Will definitely make again.

Flavour was good but it never thickened even after I added flour and boiled with the lid off. Think there might be a problem with the liquid proportions

Tons of flavor and super easy! What else can you want during a cold weeknight?

Scrumptious as always

Definitely a staple in the winter months I used Modelo beer instead of Budweiser

This stew turned out perfect. Made no changes to the recipe. I like that it is not a typical stew that I make so it was a pleasant change with the addition of beer and paprika.

The recipe is not complicated. It incorporates meat and vegetables and lovely spices which make this meal a winner. Instead of real beer I have use the nonalcoholic the taste was amazing.

It's one of the few recipes I go back to every time without a change! We like it just the way it is written.

Loved it, family thought it was wonderful! Would make it again and made no changes to it except added more vegetables than called for.
