I got this recipe from my friend, Zoe, unsure where she got it, but it's killer and I want to keep a record of it here!
Ingredients
US|METRIC
4 SERVINGS
- 2 lb. beef chuck
- 1/2 red onion (chopped finely)
- 4 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 3 sprigs thyme
- 1/2 dry red wine (a bottle of, Zinfandel)
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 15 carrots
- 15 pearl onions
- 1 pkg. mushrooms (sliced)
- salt
- pepper
- 2 bay leaves

Directions
- Brown the meat in buttered skillet for 8-10 minutes
- Add crushed garlic and finely chopped onions, stir for a couple minutes
- Add about half a bottle of red wine, thyme, and bay leaves, stir for a couple minutes
