  • 1/4 cup onions (chopped)
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms (sliced in half)
  • 1 can potatoes (whole, cut the potatoes in half -OR- 5 medium fresh potatoes, quartered)
  • 1 clove garlic (crushed)
  • 1 package brown gravy mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme (or ¼ tsp dry)
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup water

    I love this recipe, I subtituted the meat with Top Blade Steak cut in cubes than I brown meat in a medium size skillet. I also substituted water for a 1 14oz can Beef Broth. Cooked over stove top for about 30 to 40 minutes or untill carrots where tender. My husband had seconds. thank you.
