- 1 lb. beef (very thinly sliced)
- 64 oz. beef broth (natural, like Swanson)
- 8 oz. rice noodles (cellophane)
- 4 red peppers (mini yellow and, sliced into rings)
- 1 cup carrots (cut into matchsticks)
- 1 cup bean sprouts (fresh or canned)
- 1 onion (medium thinly sliced)
- 1 Tbsp. gochujang (or Siracha)
- 1 Tbsp. fish sauce
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. ginger (fresh grated or powder)
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1/4 tsp. corriander
- 1 pod powdered anise (Remove the pod before serving. , or pod)
- 1 handful fresh basil
- 1 handful fresh cilantro
- 2 green chili peppers (sliced red and)
- 2 limes (fresh, quatered)
- gochujang (additional, or Siracha served on the side)
