this soup is not bad. not really a fare assessment since I had to change things up a bit based on what I had on hand. Used brown gravy packets instead of broth, left out celery, used Rotel tomatoes instead of just diced tomatoes.

I did do a few tweaks according to my palate but I am sure it would be good even if I didn’t, this is a good recipe. I deglazed the pan with cooking sherry added some thyme along with Italian spices and added a bit more tomato paste and a few dashes of Worscestershire sauce. Will make again :)

We thought it was ok. Added some worchestshire along with more salt & pepper. Will try another recipe next time. The broth was good and thick.

This is one of the most savory soups I’ve made! The ribeye is so tender and the broth is so tasty. We loved it!

Forgot to get a photo of the finished soup, it was so delicious we ate it all! I did add a 1/2 cup of red wine to the stock. Be patient and do all the work….promise it’s a keeper.

It turned out excellent. I also added some red wine when I added the broth. The flavor was right on point. I had some tougher meat so I cooked it longer, then added 1/2 can green beans at the end.
