- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 415 grams no salt added diced tomatoes (strained, juice reserved, about 180 to 240ml juice)
- 1 cup bulgur (cooked, 1/3 cup uncooked)
- 3 Tbsp. dried currants
- 3 Tbsp. pine nuts (toasted in a dry skillet over a medium-high flame for 2 minutes)
- 1/4 cup parsley leaves (chopped)
- 120 mL low sodium tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. salt
