Awesome! My oven rack was a little high, so the top crust was a bit thick, just a small adjustment for next time 😊

The recipe was easy to follow & so simple
I exchanged a few cups of flour with whole wheat, added rosemary & exchanged the butter for olive oil
But I didn't knead it enough 😌 My fault
My house companion loved it, I did too
I'll be making it again & then 5* for the baker 😋

Really good. Recipe suffers from some confusing writing (especially around yeast and water) … but if you know the basics, this is a good basic recipe. Good oil. Good butter. Good salt. Good flour. Ingredients are key.

A TOTAL flop!!!! Seriously, 1/2 cup of milk for 5 1/2 cups of flour!!!! I double checked the recipe and tried it twice. A total waste! I compared other bread recipes on this site and they called for 2 cups water to 2 3/4 cups of flour for one loaf.

made only half the dough and still worked out well. made it today and it's eaten already.

Turned out well. Did one loaf with the roll, one without. The rolled one seems softer.

I like to cook but First time making bread.
I used 5 1/4 cup of flour, hand kneaded and let raise for 40min each time.. and baked for about 23 min.. use your better judgment..
came out great!!

Baked soft and spongy. The loaf springs back beautifully when softly touched. A warm slice of comfort.
