Ingredients

- 1/4 cup warm water (about 110 degrees)
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 cups milk (warm, about 110 degrees)
- 2 Tbsp. oil (or butter)
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 3 cups wheat flour

Directions
- Pour water into a measuring cup; add yeast and 1 tablespoon of the sugar; stir until dissolved.
- Let stand until light-colored and bubbly (about 15 minutes).
- Pour milk into a large bowl. Using the dough hook attachment, stir in oil, salt, the remaining 1 tablespoon sugar, and yeast mixture.
