- 1 Tbsp. ginger paste
- 3 saffron (strands of)
- 1/2 cup milk (warm)
- 1 handful cashew nuts (and raisin)
- 3 bayleaves
- 5 cups warm water
- 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil (I used Sunflower oil but you can use any vegetable oil)
- 3 Tbsp. ghee
- 1 inch canela (stick)
- 2 tsp. cumin seeds (/ Jeera)
- 6 whole cloves
- 3 whole green cardamom
- 1 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tsp. garam masala powder
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- salt (as per taste)
