- 1/3 cup rice bran oil
- 2 eggs (x #7, large, lightly beaten)
- 2 cups bananas (roughly mashed, very ripe, about 4)
- 1/4 cup sour cream (or yoghurt)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 1/3 cup plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 70 grams butter
- 2 Tbsp. golden syrup
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 cup caster sugar
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 Tbsp. whiskey (or rum, optional)
- 75 grams butter (diced, at room temperature)
