    Could have been my fault. My sauce separated and then there were hard bits in it. I shouldn't have left the bananas in as long as the recipe called for. They got soggy, and they were not that ripe. I didn't lit the rum. Flavor was ok, but it was not all I had hoped for.

    A favorite (and easy!) dessert to impress! One of our all time classics for guests or family. And this version is simple, no nuts, and really comes together just as it should. If I'm not careful, the sugar can get a little stuck on or grainy, but that's not the recipe's fault. Enjoy!
