Perhaps it’s because I used 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder in place of the baking soda (although I highly doubt it), but this loaf came out very flat and very dense. This is my first time branching away from my normal banana bread recipe (which comes out fluffy and moist) and I can easily say I don’t think I’ll branch out again. The flavor is there, it’s not horrible, but it’s definitely not my strongest loaves, and I’m rather bummed with this turn out.
