- 2 1/2 tsp. salt (divided)
- 1 1/4 tsp. cracked black pepper (divided)
- 8 Tbsp. unsalted butter (at room temp)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/4 cup shallots (minced, or onion)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 lemon
- 1 egg yolk
- 2/3 cup bread crumbs (or Panko, I used 2 slices of 7-grain bread, processed into course crumbs)

This recipe was easy to make and the shrimp turned out so tasty. I didn’t throw out the extra sauce, I was a glutton and ate it all up. I will be making this all the time now!;)

This is a solid recipe. Consistently excellent and ranks at the top of our family’s favorites. Truly the BEST shrimp scampi.

Kept it just the way it was stated... my wife is still talking about it... as a matter of fact she had me make it for several of her closest friends. I wouldn't change a thing.

I have never seen a recipe for shrimp scampi like this before and was excited to try it out. My fiancé loves shrimp scampi but I've only made it at home once or twice. I used to work at Cheesecake Factory and it always seemed easier to bring theirs home since it was OMG delish, and no effort on my part. Well this didn't disappoint. I served it over pasta and it came out amazing. We especially loved the sauce.
