Very good recipe. The only thing I would change would be to add more nutmeg, just to give them a stronger flavour like the old-fashioned doughnuts I’m used to.

Easy to make and a great taste. I made no changes and hubby has eaten 3 so far. They are not overly sweet which we like so I did not glaze them. Great on this cool morning with hot coffee!!!

This recipe is great! I had to substitute the baking soda and buttermilk for other ingredients, and I also used cinnamon instead of nutmeg. But the donuts still tasted great. I recommend making them small sizes because they are quite heavy and filling.

Very good! Added 1/4-1/2 tsp cinnamon rather than nutmeg. Also added cinnamon to glaze to cut the sweetness.

I love the flavor of these donuts! They taste like I remember eating them as a young girl! I also brushed on some melted butter then coated them with cinnamon sugar!

These are great! I was disappointed when I first tried making a baked donut because they tasted like cake in a circle form. These however use the key ingredient of nutmeg that makes them taste like real old fashioned donuts. I actually added some fresh grated nutmeg in addition and they were great! I melted butter and dipped them in that and then a cinnamon and sugar mixture and I think he flavor of these match better with that coating than icing.
