very good and easy weeknight meal, I used extra sauce otherwise when reheating its a bit dry, but excellent overall!

My 9-year-old stepson enthusiastically declared this to be the "best supper ever" and asked me to pack him some for lunch. He had seconds and then went back for thirds later as a bedtime snack! I used penne as mostaccioli was impossible to find (unheard of here, it looks like), and I used a chicken sausage stuffed with kale and asiago. Was also really easy to make ahead in the morning and throw in the oven when I got home from work.

It was good. I used large Italian sausage links instead of the 1lb roll, I baked them, it made it much easier to cut the links in to bite size slices. I used the heart health sauce for the first time ever and it was a bit bland but not to bad. Overall it is a good easy recipe.
