Ingredients

  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 1/2 pounds raw shrimp (peeled)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • black pepper (to taste)
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (for shrimp)
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (minced)

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 9x13-inch casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
    2. Arrange shrimp in an even layer in casserole dish. Season with salt and black pepper. Pour melted butter over shrimp and sprinkle with garlic and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss with a rubber spatula to coat.
    3. Bake shrimp on middle rack of preheated oven until just opaque, 8-10 minutes. Be careful not to overbake.
    4. Check to see that shrimp is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
    5. Sprinkle shrimp with Parmesan cheese and minced parsley. Serve immediately.
