- 400 grams bread flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. dry active yeast (instant)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 280 mL water (lukewarm)
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 onion (peeled and finely diced)
- 2 tsp. poppy seeds
- salt
- ground black pepper (freshly)

Directions
- In a large bowl, pour in the flour, yeast, and salt. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and about 200 milliliters of water.
- Start kneading and continue adding water as needed until a firm ball that is no longer sticky has formed. This process should take about 10 minutes and can be done either by hand or with a stand mixer.
- Grease another bowl and put the dough in it. Leave covered in a warm place for about 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in volume.
