- cooking oil
- 4 rashers (bacon, sliced into lardons)
- 1/2 onion (thinly sliced)
- 4 cloves garlic (sliced)
- 4 spring onions (sliced)
- 2 Tbsp. gochujang (Korean red chilli paste)
- 4 cups stock (or water, if using water, add extra salt or soy sauce)
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 cup kimchi
- 1 potato (diced)
- 1 handful greens (whatever you have lying around – I used silverbeet, stems and all)
- 1 block noodles (instant)
- 2 slices cheese (melty, I used cheddar)
- sandwiches (to serve: grilled cheese, on trashy white bread)
