- 1 pkg. shredded cod
- 1 pkg. potatoes (straw)
- 1 onions (large)
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt
- 50 mL olive oil
- 1 sprig parsley
- 2 slices bacon (3 mm thick)
- 4 eggs
- pepper

Directions
- Soak the cod in cold water for 6 hours, changing the water at least 3 or 4 times.
- Chop the onion and sauté in olive oil with the bay leaf and chopped garlic, on a low heat. Stir occasionally so the onion does not stick or burn. Cook until the onion is soft, which takes about 12-15 minutes.
- Add the shredded cod. Stir well and cook for 5 minutes.
