- 1 cup wholemeal flour (plain)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 2 large egg yolks
- 80 mL rice bran oil (vegetable oil-, is a good choice as it has no flavour)
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla essence (imitation, if you have a concentrated natural vanilla essence youâll only need half that amount and versions â this gives a much better flavour)
- 5 Tbsp. apple juice (make it fresh in a juicer or store bought 100% fruit juice)

Easy to make. I think my grandson was simply unsure why his cookie tasted like his morning oatmeal! 😁 LOL. He didnt hesitate to gobble them up.
