The best lasagna recipe I’ve come across, I eyeball the herbs and things like the soy sauce and balsamic. I use sweet Italian sausage because my kids hate anything too spicy. I also always use double the garlic but that’s just me. The sauce recipe is very forgiving. Recently I accidentally overcooked it and it still turned out good.
The nutmeg can be replaced with mace if that issue comes up and you’re okay with the slightly stronger flavor. I also know from experience that part of the ricotta/ sour cream mixture can be replaced with well- mixed cream cheese it’s. It’s a little sweeter but it works.
