- 2 Tbsp. avocado (mashed)
- 1 hard-boiled egg
- 1 slice multigrain bread (whole wheat)
- salt
- red pepper flakes (Optional)

Directions
- To hard boil egg: Fill small or medium sized pot with enough water to cover egg by a 1/2 inch. Gently place egg in pot, and turn heat to high. When the water turns to a rolling boil, turn off heat, cover and let sit on stove for 10-15 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, remove egg and rinse in cold water, then peel.
- While preparing the egg, toast the bread. Spread the avocado on the toast. Season avocado toast with salt and red pepper flakes to taste.
- Using an egg slicer or a fine knife, slice the hard-boiled egg and lay the slices on the avocado toast.
- Season with more salt and red pepper flakes if need be.
