- 3 lb. chop suey meat (my grocery store did not have this combination so I used 1 lb. each of chicken breasts, boneless pork and beef pepper steak)
- 3 cups celery (chopped)
- 4 onions (medium, chopped)
- salt
- pepper
- 3 Tbsp. molasses (bead, typically found in the Oriental section of your grocery store)
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 28 oz. bean sprouts (drained, I used 2 – 14 oz. cans)
- 8 oz. mushrooms (drained, I substituted 1 lb. of fresh, sliced)
