- 1/2 onion (medium, minced)

- 1/4 jar sun dried tomatoes (cut into strips)
- 2 fresh tomatoes (vine ripe, small diced)
- 1/2 red bell pepper (small diced)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 bunch asparagus (keep the tips- chop the rest to go into the sauce)
- 2 Tbsp. fresh basil
- 2 tsp. chili flakes
- sea salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts
