I found these too strong and salty, but after adding a tablespoon of brown sugar the flavour was wonderful! I served them on crispy lettuce leaves with bean sprouts.

For some reason, the marinade seemed to soak in to my scallops a lot more than the photo. They were dark brown by the end of the hour. This made them way too salty, and I used low sodium soy sauce and big scallops. My experience was 1 or 2 stars, but I'll assume I did something wrong, so I'm giving 3 stars.
