- 1 tsp. sea salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper (or to taste)
- 1 2/3 lb. chicken (lean ground turkey, beef or pork work as well)
- 3/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp. Sriracha (or 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon red pepper chili flakes optional to taste)
- 3 Tbsp. rice vinegar (or 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar)
- 1 tsp. fresh ginger (grated, or ground ginger)
- 1/3 cup honey (or brown sugar)
