- olive oil spray (I used my Misto)
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. Sriracha hot sauce (more or less to taste)
- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. honey (or sugar)
- 3 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 1 tsp. ginger (grated)
- 2 Tbsp. chives (or scallions, chopped)

Flavor was good, but 8-10 minutes to thicken didn't happen. Ended up stirring in a slurry instead. Didn't get any sweet from it. Might make again with some adjustments.

We cooked this in the instant pot. put the chicken legs on the trivet and dumped in all the other ingredients except the sesame seeds which we left iut because we didn't have any. pressure cooked for 10 minutes and let it natural release for 5. it was perfectly done and very tasty. the remaining sauce was delicious over rice

It turned out pretty good. The sauce was a good combination of sweet, tart, and spicy. The only knock on it is that it took forever to thicken.

Loved it although I couldn’t get the sauce to reduce but it didn’t seem to matter

Very nice and easy to make! To much water though. And I blended my sauce at end to make sure the ginder and garlic flavours mixed better with the sauce.

Excellent glaze! Definitely making this again. Tastes great even without ginger, which I didn't have around.

Very tasty! first meal I ate as leftovers. I would say that you should add more honey to it though.

Tried it today and it turned out pretty good. Next time I'd probably try it with half the balsamic vinegar. It was a bit too tangy so I also tried it with hoisin and it helped.

Always delicious! I've made this several times and always get compliments! I use boneless/skinless chicken thighs and it turns out great! You've gotta use LOW SODIUM SOY SAUCE or it will be too salty. And I play around with the amount of sriracha depending on how spicy you like it 🙂

Fantastic. i have tried it with chicken breast, but coock for less time. made it several times and its always great . next it will e pork. yummmyyyy

it was very easy to prepare & cook but i felt it lacked flavor & my husband didnt like the sauce but he did like the chicken

a bit sweet and much too salty. still pretty good though. Next time, I would reduce the honey as well as soy sauce. That should make a huge difference.

I made this for dinner tonight. It was so good even my teenager like it and super easy to prepare. Just the right blend of sweet and spicy.
