was hopibg for more of a peppery taste, very mild. i used no salt as the cheese has plenty, even almonds were just roasted.

Do NOT attempt to add salt to taste until after you have fully blended the pesto. Even with a 1/2 teaspoon mine came out extremely salty. (And I love salt.) Otherwise great flavor/taste.
