I’m not too sure what I did wrong here. I tested the yeast and ensured it was working. I used bottled water from Dasani. As you can see from the photo, the bread didn’t really rise at all. The internal temperature of the bread is 135 but the outside is hard as stone. I left this in the oven for 40 minutes trying to get the internal temperature up and if I had left it in longer it would have burned. So at the end of this recipe I’m left with two rock hard bricks of flour that are mushy inside. Horrible experience! I wouldn’t attempt this unless you have a lot of confidence in mixing ingredients. So far I have wasted $35.00 on all this, which I can not afford.
