- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 whole chickens (cut into 10 pieces each)
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 6 large eggs
- 1 Tbsp. hot sauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 cups all purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
- 3 cups self rising flour (I use White Lily flour, or gluten-free flour)
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. onion powder
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp. dried thyme
- canola oil (for frying)
