- 3 cups long-grain rice (Enriched Parboiled, steeped in water)
- 8 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tomato (large, diced)
- 1/2 cilantro (a bunch of, roughly chopped)
- 6 scallions (sliced)
- 1 can peeled tomatoes (mexican style diced and, with chillies)
- 2 packets cilantro (Goya Sauzon con, y tomate seasoning mix)
- spice mix (Goya Adobo, for seasoning)
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes (add more depending on how spicy you want it)
- 3 Tbsp. turmeric (for color)
- 1 tsp. black peppercorns
- salt (to taste)
- oil (for frying)
