It was easier than I thought and a quick recipe. Hubby liked it but doesn’t taste like the Arroz con Gandules that my friend makes.

Pretty bland in my opinion. I should’ve added garlic and some soffrito to it when I sautéed the bacon and onions.

I mixed things up a little (of course). I made the sofrito from hand and threw in some chopped mushrooms with the typical garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Que rico!
