- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon (I use 1/2 teaspoon)
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt (omit this as I use salted butter)
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice (I use 1/4 tsp)
- 2 large eggs (at room temperature)
- 1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce (divided)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted and cooled slightly)
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup raisins (or dried cranberries)
- icing (Cinnamon)
- 2 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar (icing sugar)
- 3 Tbsp. unsalted butter (melted and cooled slightly)
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
