they're pancakes!
kinda strange color & a little dense/chewy, but actually good, better than a classic pancake for me
I halved the recipe to be for 2 people,
used oat milk & wheat flour,
and added lemon zest, cinnamon, ginger & vanilla extract

I like them. Put in a tsp vanilla, tsp cinnamon, pinch of nutmeg and cloves, and used milk and about 1/2 as much brown sugar instead of regular.
Next time, used unsweetened Greek yogurt and whole wheat flour. Was also 1 apple short. Required an additional 1/2 c of milk, and 1/4 c of brown sugar in addition to the white, plus 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Made 8 1/2-c pancakes.

Made the recipe but there is no way this recipe by itself is good. I had to make numerous adjustments after the first batch. Added juice of 1 lemon. Added cinnamon, an additional teaspoon of vanilla, one more teaspoon of baking powder, about 1/2 cup of milk, and 2 TBs butter. This recipe makes 11 large pancakes; next time I would halve the recipe. Maybe also add nutmeg or some additional lime juice. It was “fine”.

Not the best, way too dense. I'd probably try chunks of apple cooked first and then added into the batter.

great pancakes, might try to cook on slightly lower heat next time. I also mixed cinnamon in with the apples. My 3 young children devoured them.

Pancakes were ok. Way to much apple for my tastes. Next time I would add half the amount. Cinnamon would be a good addition and I also added some vanilla and lime juice. The pancakes were also very heavy, not light and fluffy at all, possibly because of the amount of apple. Otherwise they were quite tasty.

added a splash of cream, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon, and by accident wayy to much vanilla, but they came out excellent. I could have added another apple or two to even out the vanilla.

I made some adjustments to the recipe: 2 tsp of baking powder instead of 1, added 1 tbsp of olive oil, squeezed the juice out of the shredded apple and switched the sugar for honey and all purpose flour to whole wheat. They turned out fluffy, moist, really liked these. Thanks!!
