This is a really good basic recipe. I wish I had crisper apples in the fridge. I might suggest a Gala or a Granny Smith. I really think the mayonnaise could be reduced to reduce the fat content. With the addition of about 1.5 tsp vinegar, I was able to reduce the sodium even further. With very little work, this recipe fits into a Healthy Heart/ Low Fat / Low Sodium diet. Well done!
