Absolutely delicious! Making it again tomorrow and seeing if I can retrofit the recipe to a 9x13 pan.

It is very good. All the Granny Smith apples I was worried it would be really tart but it was not. I’ll make again, getting the apples prepared takes the longest but the rest was simple and easy.

I love this cake. It’s a huge hit everywhere I bring it. I added a little bit of cardamom and it’s just fantastic. Easy to make and will be a hit with your friends and family. Enjoy!

It looked pretty, and tasted ok. My office and I thought the apples needed to cook longer and that it needed more cinnamon. I think next time I might precook the apples slightly so they are so crunchy.

Fantastic dessert! I'm a good home cook, not a baker. This cake is easy to make and tastes wonderful! I've made it twice so far, and I'm working on another one today. I made the first two from organic apples purchased at our local farmers market. Freshness and crispness make a difference, from what I see of the store-bought apples that I'm using today. I suggest cutting up the apples into the springform pan to determine how many are actually needed, as I've needed between 4 to 9 apples, depending in the size. Since the batter is thick, I also recommend that you mix it in a large bowl and fold the apples into the batter to coat them. I use parchment paper in the pan and butter the bottom and sides thoroughly.

It was rly good. I had a hard time figuring out if the cake was fully baked or not, but it still tasted amazing.

Ligera y muy sabrosa, mejor mezclar la manzana con la masa para que quede un poco más uniforme, para esa cantidad de masa se pueden poner un par de manzanas más

My hiking girlfriends and I have a pot luck and movie night almost every month in celebration of birthdays. There are some really good cooks and bakers in attendance. All I can say is that it was EASY to make and it got rave reviews. The fact that we will hike off the calories makes it more enjoyable when eating this dessert !!
