I'm not a big fan of french toast, but these were phenomenal. I didn't have any half and half on hand so I used milk.
The only recommendation I have is these are probably best made in a standard waffle maker. I have a belgium waffle maker so they probably didn't crisp up the way they would have in a standard waffle maker.
