- apples (I am still trying to use up all these, from the other week so I decided to make some apple pie filling. I went ahead and used mine in a pie but I think I will make some more up and freeze it.)
- apple pie filling
- 5 cups apples (peeled,chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp. canela
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 cups water

Great but too sweet so I cut sugar in half and worked fine. Also used monfruit sugar for healthier results. Yum, thanks!

Easy enough, but a little too sweet for my personal liking. It would’ve been nice if the flavor of the apples itself would have shone a little more.
