- 8 granny smith apples (– peeled, cored and sliced)
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 cup white sugar

Directions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- 2. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the flour to form a paste. Add the water, brown sugar and white sugar, and bring to a boil. Reduce the temperature and let simmer.
- 3. Place the bottom crust in your pan. Fill with apples, mounded slightly. Cover with a lattice work crust.
