- 8 bacon slices (thick)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 spring mix salad greens (a large plastic container, I buy mine at Costco)
- 1 pear (large, thinly sliced)
- 1 Honeycrisp apple (large, other variety, like Gala, will do, thinly sliced)
- 1 cup grapes (halved seedless, whatever color you'd like: I had green on hand)
- 4 oz. gorgonzola cheese (I substituted Feta, which worked fine; you want something with zing, that is dry and crumbly)
- 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tsp. grated orange zest
- 1/2 cup orange juice (fresh squeezed)
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. light brown sugar
- 2 tsp. fresh ginger (grated)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
