Turned out OK. Very moist though! Perhaps I should have drained some of the juice from the apples when I grated them so the fruit wasn't so wet! Or leave them in the oven a bit longer as the 8" tin didn't seem big enough, they were rather thick! I added blackcurrants too as I didn't have many apples, they give a nice tang and texture. Will make again but alter the juice aspect.

Very nice and good healthy snack for the kids... compared to normal flapjack anyway. I used vegan honey instead of golden syrup. It was all i had, but as its apple based, it worked really well.!
