  • 4 granny smith apples
  • lemon juice
  • 2 cans crescent dinner rolls (8 count)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 12 ounces sprite
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter

    Directions

    1. Peel the apples, then core and cut into quarters.
    2. Sprinkle apples with lemon juice and microwave for 3 min just to start cooking.
    3. Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Wrap each quarter apple in crescent roll, Place in dish. All 16 pieces will fit in pan.
    4. Melt butter and mix with sugars and Sprite, then pour over top of rolls (pan will be full - lots of juice).
    5. Bake at 350 until brown.
