- 2 cups gluten-free rolled oats (I use Bob’s Red Mill GF Rolled Oats)
- 2 1/2 cups water (warm filtered, just enough to cover oats)
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice (fresh organic, unfiltered organic apple cider vinegar, whey, or kefir, my preference is lemon juice)
- 9 apples (organic, cored, peeled and chunked, about 8 cups)
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 cups gluten free oats (soaked)
- 1/2 cup butter (pasture, cut into small pieces, I use this and this brand)
- 1/4 cup honey (preferably local or biodynamic)
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
