Delicious!!! I followed recipe as is but I made half only and it worked perfectly!

Tastes great and agree with others, the fresh lemon juice adds lovely brightness! Please fix the directions though, it’s really hard to follow and like others I winged it a bit, especially since some ingredients are used in both parts of the recipe, but I couldn’t tell how much went in the filling vs the topping. I used apples from my fridge that I needed to use up, and only had 4, so I cut the recipe in half and used an 8x8 pan. I wish I had one more apple. Will make again! Thank you!

I’m not a big fan of apple crisp but I thought it was good. My husband loves apple crisp and said but was good but maybe the topping was a little too sweet. We all thought that on the second day, after being refrigerated it, it tasted better. The apples were very good. We used honey crisp apples.

Amazing!!! Have made 3 batches for family. Will definitely be saving this for next year everyone has given it amazing reviews! Perfect recipe to use up the surplus of apples from the family tree!

This was sooo delicious. The only modifications I made were that i increases the amount of topping and added some chopped crystallized ginger to the topping and apple mixture.

Great base recipe. I adjusted some of the amounts and I always double the topping for my taste.

Great!! But too sweet. I reduced the sugar by half and would reduce it even more. Otherwise delicious.

Perfect! Apple crisp as it should be... buttery, gooey apples and a not-too-sweet topping. This is a fantastic recipe!

Loooove this! The crisp was buttery, crunchy, and just the right ratio of oats. The apples were flavorful, but not overpoweringly sweet. Perfect fall dessert! I mixed the lemon juice, brown sugar, butter, flour, etc, before pouring it into the bowl with the apples. I think it helped keep the flavor more evenly distributed, and it helped absorb the lemon into the flour!

Excellent!!! The crust is a bit more moist than what I’m used to, but it’s not a bad texture either! It’s very buttery and very sweet aaaand also very good!

Turned out great! I didn't have any lemon juice so I substituted lime juice. Interesting adjustment but it worked great!

I had a large amount of apples and used the first half last week to make this and enjoyed it. Tried to make it again today, but the recipe had changed, now saying to cook it twice as long, not specifying what to do with divided oats, and some totally different ingredients. Very frustrating and I had to wing it.
