The muffins were dry. Thankfully the recipe made a small amount so I only had to suffer through 9 of these. I made this again but added oats, apple sauce, extra apples and brown sugar instead of white. My version turned out really moist and delicious. The topping on these also did t work without butter, as the author suggests. And 400 degree oven is too hot, my topping burned on my first batch

Worked out well, although I added extra almond milk, as the batter seemed dry. They taste delicious though!
